Posers Coffee House, Bullshit Accepted!
That sucks JC. Here's what we're looking at.
Denver remains under a WINTER STORM WARNING through 6 AM Friday for
heavy snow, gusty winds and dangerous windchill values. The forecast calls
for 5-10" total in the city with up to a foot west and south of town across
Jefferson County and into Douglas County along the Palmer Divide and
Monument Hill. An arctic cold front moved in from the north mid morning
dropping temperatures out of the mid 30s into the mid teens and dropping a
quick 1-3" of snow. The second stronger storm is heading across southern
Colorado and will produce heavier snow and gusty winds overnight. Blowing
snow could mean blizzard conditions on the eastern plains late tonight. Winter
weather and travel advisories remain in effect for the mountains overnight for
snow and wind.
Friday will be bitter cold with morning clouds, snow and wind. Look for some
clearing midday with partly sunny skies by the afternoon. Additional
accumulation will be light in the 1-2" range in the morning. Afternoon temps
will top out around ten or eleven above zero then fall to around six below for
New Year's Eve! In the mountains light snow will continue off and on during
the day with temperatures in the single digits and dangerous windchill values
-20 to -30!
