Think Ranger be snowed in...TV showin lots of snow up that way!!

 

I thought the kangaroos ran wild down there.like the deer in north america. Aren't there millions of then running around?

 

I think maybe out in the booneys but probably not in or around the cities. Probably much the same as our deer.
I know at one time they had a bigger problem with rabbits than with the kangaroos.

Yep, you have to get out a good way to see kangaoos running about. Chris got to hold and pet a koala today, and we saw a lot of roos and other assorted Aussie animals. The wombats were all asleep in logs, but we did a good view of one. Those things are really big. Much bigger than I thought!

 

Wombats are kinda cool.

 

Are they on the menu?

 

Haven't seen wombat on any menus yet. Might be tasty little buggers!

 

One of my ex-teacher buddies asked me to bring a stuffed wombat back for her kid. She was unable to obtain one herself. They are not that easy to find here, either! I real wanted to see one awake, but they are a sleepy lot!
