Tough one Doc. I hate to hear those.

 

Went into an outside curve one time (maybe a little fast), and for some reason I looked to the right. As the bike goes where you look I end up off the blacktop and into the gravel. Guard rails are coming up fast.I didn't panic and just kept on the steering and off the gas. Rode right through it and back on to the highway. Hitting the brakes might have had a totally different outcome.
Moral of the story PAY ATTENTION to what you are doing!!!!!!!!!!!

 

One guy in another thread said that you should practice emergency braking at least once a week. I thought why not? So went out yesterday and gave the ABSs a work out. Probably gotta change pads now

 

Supposed to ride to my Dad's place today ( about 2 hours) and take him out for his birthday. Don't look like it is going to be a very nice day for that. Might have to take the truck

 

Sup Ucan??..........Not lookin good here for the next couple days. Callin for rain thru Tuesday night. Nothin out there now. Hafta check the radar and take a peek when it gets light out.....See if I take the bike or the truck for coffee.

I take my coffee light and sweet, thanks Doc! Its pouring buckets of wet stuff here. Started last night about 9:30.
