She's a good rider, but nervous about canning up my new bike. She has no problem riding the Valkyrie. I think she'll find the FXD a real hoot. Probably end up getting her one.

Sand, chat, cinders, and even salt can be pretty scary. I've had several pucker moments this winter. And, that's when I'm already taking it easy.

I put a bike down in chat one time. Had one heck of a time digging that stuff out. Then it got infected. Bad mojo.

They use mag chloride here....sticky stuff,, and slick for two wheeled vehicles. Supposed to be less corrosive, but it is gummy and is more difficult to rinse off the bike.
