You haven't had fun until you've had a skunk sneak into the campfire area, then put its front paws up on your knees, do some sniffing about, and look you in the eyes. It's even happened more than once. Talk about statue time! Beautiful animals, but one of the biggest carriers of rabies.

Possums are only good when they are drinking beer.

I was surprissed to learn that opossums and skunks will bed down together...(not talkin bout J-Dub)....

Never had either walk into a campsite....but when me and the OL were dating, we were sitting on my patio sippin some brews when an opossum comes stolling up to the dog food pan. I grabbed a handy 5 iron and he ran off. Just moments later I hear a noise, thinkin it was the opossum.... but no... it was a skunk who had slipped in the other way. Had his bussiness end pointed at the back door, and when I stood up...he raised his tail. We stared each other down for a few moments. I sat down with my back to him for a bit.... then we calmly stood up, walked into the middle of the back yard, and walked around to the front. By the time we got around to where we could se the back door ( our only way back inside ) the skunk had executed his exit plan as well.

Doc said I have to stop smokeing today for 60 days due to the fact that donor bones for surgery dont fuse very well and he thinks that he will have to take bone from my hip/femar area.
