Our rescue had ta go get a guy off Big Pine,he put his boat in and got thru the ice but when he tried to get back the ice was to thick to get his boat back into the landing....
Made all the local 10pm news that night....dumb chit....

 

Reminds me of last winter out in Ohio where those knuckleheads went out on the thin ice and it broke away and set them all adrift.
WTH were they thinkin'!!

No fish is worth it,you should see the folks here,lake freezes over during the night and they try to go out on it in the morning....

I have 14" of ice about 50 yrds out in front of my place,lots of icehouses going out..

 

Not much Jc...jus hangin out. Shame not to take a ride but, even though the sun is shining, it's only about 23-24 out.
