Rode the scoot to the dentist today. 52* and partly cloudy when I left home. Nice ride in. 44*, cloudy, and windy as heck on the way home. Good thing I wore those newfangled azzless chaps today! heehee

 

I only saw 2 other bikes out today. All the others must be winterized.

 

I was putting my gear on in the dentist office, a good looking young lady came in, took one look at me, and went to the farthest part of the room away from me and actually looked kinda scared. I had to laugh, which probably didn't make it better.

 

When I first got to the office there was an elderly lady (86 yo, she told me) there who asked me if I had ridden my 'bike' in. I told her that I had. She proceeded to tell me the story of her only ride on a motorcycle. She was in her 20's. The dude's 'jiffy stand' was stuck down and they crashed. He got hurt, but she didn't. But, she wouldn't ever ride again. I was shocked when she called it a jiffy stand. Cool lady!

I'm with you Scot....couldn't let this day slide by. Took my grandaughter to kindergarten at noon...came home and went for a ride. Even went by the Harley shop and had a quick look around....nuthin new there since the last trip.
Sure was nice to get out and ler'er run a bit...
Did a nice 3-3 1/2hour run around the local area and got back home just a little before dark.
I'm smiling now.

 

Ice in the driveway. Can't get the bike out! May have'ta get the scraper after it again. Sheesh!!
