Blistering 32* here now. Gonna quit burnin' wood for a few days, it looks like.

 

My wife thinks that I have fun keeping the woodstove in the basement stoked up. Not quite what I'd call it.

Let her clean it out a few times and carry in some of the wood. That should straighten her up a little

 

Dad called me yesterday evening. Him and mom stopped at 7-11, after a number of stops, to get a soda and the car wouldn't start. Battery had 10 volts when I got there. Auto parts store close by, so we got a new one. Amazing how batteries pick their times to die.

Glad it wasn't the day before when they went to their skin doctor, who's 50 miles away. That was the day the temps were falling fast, and the wind was howling!

 

You got that right! Don't see that happening anytime soon!

 

Time to do something, even if it is wrong!!!
