Default foot draggers

I've been noticing a lot of foot draggers lately. drag em accros the intersection, parking lot, etc. I'm thinking about inventing boots with retractable wheels like landing gear. should be a hot seller! just say'n

Keep your distance. Chances are, they're rookies.

It may not be a rookie, it may be a rider with one year of experience repeated 20 times. That's how I separate the riders from the wannabes. If you can do it slow, you can do it fast. If you can't do it slow, you do it half fast. Get it?

I know a two friends, one with 50+ and the other with 30+ years of riding who do that. neither are that great on a bike and they have their foot hanging when they take off from a stop. I know it's just a very bad habit they have but if they ever have that foot catch it'll be a very bad story. I know they both would not take critism from me so don't say a word to them about it.

local guy near me, used to drag his feet on his road king, little lady on the back, pillion footboards down...foot gets dragged under, thrown off, broken ankle, no riding for a while. changed to pasenger foot pegs now. upside was that i got a free set of footboards and once they were powder coated (about$30) looked like new and my wife is happier with boards than pegs. i find the bike is so well balanced that that to ride with feet dragging really feels bad.

The only time I drag my feet on my bike is if I've decided I'm tired of the boots/shoes I'm wearing and I wanna drag them so they wear out faster so I have an excuse to get rid of them.

I always wondered if the people that drag their feet actually believe they can just put their feet down and magicaly stop the bike?

They do have them and I see all the kids around here have them. They are called Heelies and are a running shoe that have a wheel on the heel, the kids run on their toes and glide across the floor on their heels. Yes they would work really well for these feet dragers.

Chop.
