I'll take real riding pants that keeps the skin on my *** over chaps anyday plus that knee armor really takes the edge off the cold on a frosty morning.
Don't know anyone that can be in two places at the same time to see themselves go past, so who gives a $hit what you look like when you ride.

 

Yeah, I can see the new generation of hard-core HD riders now - wait, they were all scared off by geezers in chaps. Awww.

 

Some guy at work the other day that did not ride asked me if I wore assless chaps?? and then he laughed He He!!!. I said all chaps are assless and walked off laughing my self....

P.S - I am keeping my chaps, I have wore them for years and yes I wore them in my twentys and I still wear them in my mid fortys for the young guy that said they had to go on us older guys....

Chaps do have a purpose when riding in cold weather.....Those that don't understand that concept obviously haven't learned it yet! Ride your scoot when it's 20-deg F and you will learn quick!

 

Hmmm, you dont really think old geezers with out chaps look good do you?

 

You wear what you want and I'll do the same. Fifty miles to work when it's 35-40* sucks without them.



The lady at the gas station does look at me funny when I forget to put pants on though. Damn, getting old and forgetful can suck.

 

If I ever catch you staring at my azzless chaps....I'll...uh...uh...forgot what I was gonna' say....
