Some of us ...... accidentally drop ball pene hammers in car windshields when #9 is broken, accidentally of course

Ohh I love ball bearings, you have no idea, sometimes they "fall" out of my pockets too. My shovel is a ridged and its a bumpy ride.

Absolutely. Also having a good sgt at arms that will keep the prospects and hangaround tight really helps

Yeah the road is no place to "learn" how to ride in a pack, it is truly an art form.

we always rode with hangarounds in the back , but the prospects always ran traffic control. We as a pack did not stop at lights.. just like a funeral procession. Prospects blocked off cross traffic at all stop signs and stop lights. When running down the highway , two (top) prospects stayed up close to the front for traffic control. The rest worked their way back to the back of the pack..

You are absolutely correct though. It is very easy to get ran over by cagers trying to cut across a pack of riders, and most clubs don't ride timid and slow so yes it takes skill to navigate inside a tight pack, especially when something bad goes down and everyone is braking and looking for an out.

I don't have the same attitude anymore but.. I have to say that I have destroyed the side mirror off of a car or two (back in my somewhat younger days). Ball bearings have been know to "cure" the tailgate problem.
