I Feel when ya name an Motorcycle it like stealing the Soul of something that is Wild/Free and Pure. It's like the animals in a zoo all have names but the one's in the wild are still free from humanities labels. So I ain't got NO NAME for the Motorcycle

I name my bikes after musical characters. Currently, I have the Springer named "Maggie Mae" from the the Beatles song (Dirty Maggie Mae......) and I named the SG "Loretta" after Loretta Lynn. When my wife got her white and pewter pearl Heritage, it looked so prim and proper in the garage with the other two that I called her "The Princess" and it stuck.
My wife's first bike was a Honda Shadow 600 that I called Brumhilda because it was the ugly step-sister.

First time I saw my bike on the dealer's webpage, I thought to myself... fugly bike, in a fugly color.... no wonder it's priced so low.... who'd buy a lump of turd like that? but it kinda grew on me, so I bought it, and named it "the Golden Turd".
and as a bonus, calling my bike the "turd" really pizzes off the folks who I rather enjoy pizzing off

i had a long discussion with my bike today and we have narrowed the choices down to :
黑色哈雷 (which is chinese for "the black harley" since most of the parts are made in china)
-or-
"el negro harley" which is spanish since all the laborers are from mexico and nafta has killed this countries manufacturing and labor base
-or-
"steve"
