I agree with the gift of the bell. It was given to me and not the bike.
While I feel the bell I have now will fall off before I change bikes, it would stay with me if I change.

No. Bell overs don't work. They are risky at best. You should do a patch over before trying to bell over.

No, if was purchased at an authorized HD Dealer, But, You must have it reinstalled on Your new Bike by A certified HD Tech, to keep Your warranty intact.

No, the bell may have been given to you but it was meant for the bike and when you retired the bike, the bell must also be retired but kept as a fond memory of the safe miles traveled while all three of you were together. It now becomes a legacy of the past and constant reminder of what once was. The new bike will bring a new era in your journey and requires a new bell to continue the legend.
