You know the old saying:

"Better to keep your mouth closed and just thought to be a Lying Low Rent Lawyer with an Ego POSER, than to Open your Mouth and Prove it"

Worked with a guy back in mid 70's who had an uncle just like that. Said he had hosed quite a few car salesmen that didn't want to deal with him and he went elsewhere.

He'd also show back up at first dealer next day to let manager know what they had missed.

I would have bought two suits at Mens Warehouse for 400 bucks or so, and spent the other 1400 bucks for bike bling. Man needs to have his priorities, 1800 bucks for a suit is just crazy, and I wear one every day.

I've been blessed with sufficient resources to have purchased over 120 cars, trucks, motorcycles, boats and motorhomes since 1962. I always go to a dealer looking poorly. When I find the sales rep who does not prejudge me and makes a very professional effort, I become a buyer. Many times I do return to the failed dealership and show them what they lost.

It is all about your motives... If you go back to the first dealer and show them what they lost, then hopefully they become a better dealer because of it. If you just take your deal and go home, then presumably they will go on and miss many comissions and perhaps go out of business.

This is the poser's...I mean POSTER's signature...
Any effort that has self-glorification as its final endpoint is bound to end in disaster.
Think he should have thought about that before he posted this BS story.
