Here in Wisconsin we are pushing 50+ inches of snow and winter just began. I'm thinking about trailering the bike to Nashville in mid March, any of you familiar with the area and were to ride ? What weather should I expect?

Jus' like last year, you 'Cheezrs' are gettin' more than your fair share. Seems the storms are likin' that 'southern' swing vs rollin' cross NoDak. Then they loop up to Sconi.
Sux to B U. But then, we had snow on 18 of the 31 days in Dec, just no great knockout dumps. Snow I can do, getting to hate the -0 junk as I get older.

Never been that direction in the winter, BUT some great riding in that area. We stayed at Cumberland Furnace. Drift up to Land Between the Lakes. BEAUTIFUL and historic. Then we headed west thru Memphis and St Louis. Guess I'd be concerned about one of those 'ice' storms that roll thru. But, hopefully John, or one of the other Tn riders will check in and update us.

I will try to help ya out here. I live 70 miles east of Nashville. March is a hard month to predicte the weather. I've seen it sunny and 78* in mid March. And I have also seen the winters biggest snow in March. Also, the rainy season usally don't happen until April, but I have seen it rain alot in March. If I were you I would wait till the 1st. of March to make the call.
As far as riding, it depends on what kind of riding you wanna do. You wanna ride the country roads, head east. Holler at me if I can be of more help.
