Leather pants or chaps?

I ran this one past a few female friends who ride...the general consensus from them was that if a guy doesn't look like Jim Morrison in his early years, stay away from the leather pants and stick with chaps...

Been wearing chaps for years (if they weren't assless, they would be pants). I like being able to shed them when I get someplace (takes about 30 seconds). You wear what you want - people worry way too fkn much about what other people wear.

http://www.langlitz.com Custom made, maybe 'round $700 in cow.

You might want to keep an eye on eBay, they pop up there from time to time and sell for a lot less.

I guess if someone's a lard-a$$ they would look kind of funny. I'm not a lard-a$$ and they look great on me and more importantly will protect ALL of my a$$ if it ever meets the pavement unlike chaps which will leave you with a big patch of your meat hanging out where your skin used to be. Chaps are for cowboys. If you're a lard-a$$ disregard and keep telling youerself that

I don't wear either. Jeans and thermal underwear are fine with me.
