(The new forum layout still throws me, so bear with me.)
Whenever I road trip, I text the poor bastiches back at work that should've come with me. My last trip was Chicago to Houston via Ohio, WV, FL and all stops in between.
I forget the exact day, but whatever it was, I had to be in Houston by 8 am for work.
Spoofing Elwood Blues, I texted: It's a hunnert an furteen miles to Houston. I have 2 1/2 cartons of cigarettes, haf a tank uh gas, it's hot out an i'm wearing leather. Hit it!
That was the last day, and the longest of the trip at about 620 miles. Not too bad on a stock seat, and no fairing or windscreen. I know, I know, I'm a Rub because I wasn't on a rigid. Does it count if my shocks were worn out. ha ha.
