Default doo rag

well im hving a hell of a time keeping my doo rag on. no matter how tight i make it, it always seems like its going to blow off, that is above 50mph. i see a lot of riders on tv wearing them and i cant figure out how there keeping them on. even my neighbor says he finally gave up on it. guess i could attach a chin strap to it but i dont see any one else having the problem, whats the secret.

Are you keeping it real high on your forehead? That could be a problem. I keep mine pretty low and tight and I don't have a problem. You could put a little gel in your hair and put the rag on while the gel is still wet and you shouldn't have any kind of problems.

if your head is shaved, it acts like velcro. when i wear one with my head shaved it stays put. when i have longer hair, it flys off too. maybe the guys on tv had shaved heads?

I'd go along with "the having longer hair" theory!
So how about the ones able to wear a ball cap while riding?
Either direction I can't keep one on and quit trying!

I think you should attach the chin strap.

+1 Low and tight. I have longer hair. Gotta keep it low on your forehead and tight.

Mine seems to stay on fine while I'm riding. It just always comes off when I pull my helmet off. Then I have to take it out of the helmet & stick it back on my head.

Funny, I have the same problem

BTW, for TV, the reason why they stay on is the bikes are standing still & the background is moving
