Its fun, My girl and I have ridden over 300 miles in the rain. We love cruising and I usually speed in the rain. My dads been driving for over 30 years and he calls me nuts, because at 100 MPH on normal conditions is fine but in the rain with just shades HURTS....but fun

I suggest you do it in a white t-shirt.
To get the full Harley effect, of course...

Im serious. I like ridding in the rain, A buddy rode 40 miles, within those 40 miles he pulled over at a dry cleaners to dry off and rode the rest to stop and do the same, he called me and told me "Im a Real Biker Now, I rode 40 miles" I asked how it happened he told me, well he got caught but pulled over to you know dry off, I started laughing at him and told him my girls done 100 miles non stop on the back with me and didnt complain once about being wet.

Try it during a tornado and then tell us how well you like riding in the rain I did it once in the '70s for about 5 miles and I nearly drowned. I hate riding in the rain.

I rode 140 miles in the rain coming home from black hills in june.

Light rain is no hindrance at all. Moderate rain is OK for 40 or 50 miles then it's the same as heavy rain--just plain bites.
