Might as well ask if youre a worker or a driver or a sportsman. Eveyone one with a digital camera nowadays is a photographer for example. So it would follow that everyone with a Honda Ruckus that thinks theyre a biker is apparently now, a biker.
Its a loosely defined term at best. The public image is what the op and his linked story begs to be differing with I think.

Having owned various bikes (still kinda miss my '69 Bonneville) over the past (going on 40 years now..ouch) it's always been about wind in my face and seeing somewhere new. Pulling into the parking lot at the bar is always fun too if people check out your bike. I never thought of myself as a (tough guy) biker. Nowadays, I'm only allowed to ride when when my wife says I can. Am I a biker? No, I think it's called pussywhooped!!
