I live here in Garland, Texas and we have many splinter groups of riders, I wont call them gangs yet. I googled and everything came up is mostly sport bikes and some family oriented gathers. I have seen some in bars from Rockwall and they are just start ups. There is one in Sache, Texas called "Dickweeds", no thanks... I will join one or just be a chapter member and ride when harley davidson itself sponsors rides and events.

Myself and a friend had to ride up to the Kansas City area earlier today...

Saw a group of about a dozen riders, many of them sporting HOG patches, but we must have been given a 'free pass' as they didn't stop or question either of us.

 

I heard their a bunch of bad azzes[8D]

Personaly Id like to see the Booze Fighters start a chapter here.
I know they arent a 1% club, but they are more my type of club.
I dont want to be a criminal.
Im just an alchoholic who likes motorcycles, and the Booze Fighters self proclaimed explanation of there club " a drinking club with a motorcycle problem" sounds like my kind of club.

 

Whose territory you're in depends on where you are. In East LA, Montebello, Pico you are in Mongols territory. In San Bernadino HA territory.
Even before the Laughlin incident of 02 there was a turf war going in San Diego between Mongols and HA. Recently the SD Angels took a hit from the feds. Several SD Angels including the leaders were sent to prison for dealing drugs. That left the Mongol Nation pretty much in charge of SD.
San Fernando Valley is traditionally HA territory but Mongols and Vagos have chapters here to and have clashed sometimes violently with the Angels.
In northern California the Mongols are pushing into traditional HA territoryin the bay area, San Jose, Oakland etc.
So the territory situation changes. Before the Mongols established themselves and won a war with the HA for the right to wear the California rocker the HA claimed all of California as there territory.

No problems at all. Mongol I met is a real cool decent guy. I've probably met more, I just don't know it.
