when I was 16 and had my first sport bike, I was told to "get a real bike" by a guy on a harley.

I was out washing the RKC and the priest from the church across the street walks by and says "Nice car!"

 

I didn't say it but I was looking at over a hundred shiney H-Ds on the showroom floor and the salesman axed this feller if he could help him. The recruit replied, "Yes, sell me a Screaming Eagle and it gotta be black!" I just happened to buy a Black Heritage myself.

Most ignorant motorcycle comment? That's funny, I heard it just today in these forums. Here, I cut/pasted it:

 

Damn I got on here to say the same damn thing lol. My buddies mom came to me when I got my fxd and said it looked like a sportster. I wanted to tell her every thing other than a motor home looked like a sporty next to her giant @$$ but I remained cool. Lol

 

Lost one of the boys to testicular cancer several years ago. Buddies asked me if still rode after having lost one of the boys. Told them yep still ride but had to adjust, after having lost the right one and I tended to lean to the left when riding.

 

In '04 I bought a VTX 1800R. One night at a local bike night, one guy ask how do I spell "V - T - X"......without missing a beat I replied " F - A - S - T"...

 

Had the head engineer at my work walk up to me as I just parked my carb'd sportster. He just starts shooting the breeze (although he was doing all the taking) and puts his hand on my throttle grip and starts working the throttle back and forth. I said "yo dude, thanks for flooding my engine out! What school did you say you graduated from?" I never liked the guy anyway.
