Morning all. Got a few days of dry to get ready for the next round of storms. Dam shame we had a mother with her 5 year old try to take a river crossing outside of town and the 5 year old got swept away. When will people learn to respect water.

Had Legion meeting last night. I was called into a couple of meetings before and after our Post meeting. I was asked to be the new bar manager. There has been some "issues" with current manager, nothing illegal, but more personal issues. So I am new bar manager. Just waiting for the board to let me know when that is official. Told them many times over the years I just want to help the Post. I guess that mantra carried through as I was "reminded" couple times about this. Oh well.... more daily tasks, weekly tasks, and time spent at the Post. Be careful what you say....some people may take you up on your comments!!
