probably something simple that’s plug an play. To repair. But it ain’t in my wheelhouse.

I have the replacement sitting in its box still, too awkward to think about setting it up by myself. I'll see if the next door neighbor will help when he gets back; he helped me with the one that's having problems now. After a week of a dimming screen, it came on full bright last night and after getting used to the twilight look realized it was getting dimmer than I'd thought. Can't trust it to auto-fix permanently, if I return the new one it'll probably lose the video right away. Electronics are good at frustrating the hell out of you, I bet this one would laugh at me if it could. Sure has a nice picture when it works, darn it. Hopefully the newer tech LG will be even better.
