What exactly was the plumbing issue you were trying to solve?

Had a nice day with my granddaughter, took it easy because she's losing and growing teeth and had some pain today. Was still enjoyable, and she still ate a homemade pizza. Brought her Christmas guitar with her, the strings sound better with her tiny fingers than with mine, didn't expect that. Or she just has a better touch on them, that wouldn't surprise me. Time will tell if she goes anywhere with it.

Cloudy and funny tasting water in that faucet only according to her. Rest of house is fine. She figured it was the work we did prior to the new vanity being installed late last summer.

Interesting. Is there a potential water trap that could be a source of stagnant water?

Not that I've found. She swears this problem didn't exist until the pipe rearrangement took place. So I replaced what was done with the PEX to eliminate any possibility of soldering invasion.
