Actually pretty easy. Working with the PEX along with Sharkbites to join to hard copper was easy and leak free. Not a fan of using Sharkbites in general, but in this case, it was the only solution. I don't think it solved Gloria's issue with the water in the bathroom, but I did as requested and she can't blame me. Well, she can, but not while being honest with herself.
Oh, and I cleaned out the faucet for good measure.

 

Warm but windy. Lunch with the missus. Trip to the glass store to order a 3/8” thick, tempered glass shelf for the bathroom window so she can put more plants in it followed by a run to Costco. Cocktails on the porch now watching the sun set.
