As far as the seat, not an odd question as some may think. Yes, the seat is still perfect. Very comfortable for long days, and for the bun burning sessions, I have a sheep skin that lives in the bag.

That's exactly what the couple that bought Boardtracker and destroyed it did. But somehow they escaped prosecution. They screwed HD out of quite a bit of money.
I was wondering what the reach would be like. From the pics it looks like you would have to reach way forward. No?

Falsifying loan applications, that's the Feds.
Out of trust....receiving loan proceeds and not paying off floor plan. Bank fraud, again the Feds.
Not paying off liens on vehicles taken in trade..
The list continues but that's the basics. Dealers get in a financial pinch and those are the most common ways to retain cash.. like auditors are oblivious. They always get busted.

I chose these new bars out of necessity, so the consequences are just a small part of the larger overall picture. Perhaps more planning will net the desired result. For the time being, I had extra parts on the bench that were able to get me by. Such is the game of modification.
I have nerve pain shooting into my elbow. I was really wanting more pullback and a more narrow bar. Coupled with the cartridges not fitting with the bars I had, it was a logical time to make the change.

Finally feel well enough to get the shifter assembly in running order. The interior pinch bolt (the one nearest the engine) had loosened.
That one is a 3/16 hex, the ones on the foot levers are 1/4.
Something I will check periodically and glad it occurred sitting in my driveway and not in BFE.

Chuck, check the ignition. I've done that once or twice. And locked the door.
Or I forgot to pull the keys out of the front door last month. Stayed there all night. Whoops. Mind was somewhere else.

I'll report back tonight after a test ride, but for now, they feel good. The wrist angle is more neutral too.
