We had a great day. I got the most awesome t-shirt from my B&SIL. John Prine is my all time favorite songwriter and performer. His passing hit me pretty hard. He was an American treasure.

 

Well it is time for the Bucs to play. This has been such a good day and there is much potential for them to mess it all up. I am hoping they get a big win in Arizona tonight and then clinch the division next week in Carolina. Is that too much to ask? They do not travel and play well out west. They laid a huge egg in SF a couple weeks ago.

 

They couldn't play nearly as poorly as the Broncos did today!

I got home safe and sound. 289 miles in 4 hours 15 minutes. Not bad for a Tacoma loaded with presents. Didn’t go over 85. And tried very hard to keep it over 65.

 

Kids get over it in hours and then Mom and Dad will be sick for 5 days.

Hope that's true for Sammy, anyway. Maybe not for you and Mom.

 

I have one, different color. Are they worth anything on ebay?

 

You wouldn't have lasted long around here at 85, slick spots all over the place. Blowing snow packed down unevenly and frozen salt melt that exercises the anti-locks. I was glad there was very little traffic today.

 

Finally had a hit with a Christmas present, Granddaughter was thrilled with her guitar, SIL actually seemed impressed, and Audrey said she'd like to see what she could do with it, too. Got to spend a little one on one with Granddaughter showing her how to use the tuner and explain some basics about it. Told her if she can play me a few songs on it next year, she might get an electric next Christmas.
