Afternoon gents! Looks like the Cowgirls are making a showing of it. 20-17. Igles are a strong team.
Made a last minute Costco run. Thought for sure the dumas who found his way into the trench last night would still be there. Nope. He was on the receiving end of a Christmas miracle apparently. But 100 yards farther down the road these two clowns tried it from a different angle. Easier to extract I would imagine. And it wasn't even that slick.
Well time to wind down. Kids all left. We have the house to clean. Again!! But had a good time today with grandkids. Lots of noise. Lots of laughing and talk. Now it's nice and quiet. Never realized how enjoyable the quietness is!!!
Middle granddaughter has a boy friend. We had a chat about him. I gave her a small pin to pass along to him. Boots/rifle/helmet. She asked what this was. Told her it is a memorial for Veterans. That many cemeteries that have a Veterans Memorial have this as a centerpiece of the memorial. I really can't wait to see him again.... I'll explain and offer up a little road trip where he and I can chat, and I can show him the cemetery where we do our flag retirement and the Veterans Memorial. I really think he is a good kid and would like to spend a little time with him so he and I can get to know each other.
Otherwise a great day with all. Told the daughter-in-law this is exactly what I want for Christmas.
