The Eagles QB has opted out for this game due to a “sprained shoulder” however I believe this is a ploy to keep him healthy for the playoffs. They know that the Wowboys defense will be dialed up for this game. If Dallas had not lost to the Jugulars, I think it would be a different story and Hurts would play.

Hurts is turning into a good NFL QB. He is among a current crop of young guys hoping to be the next Tom Brady.

 

As is typical for his style of play, I’ll give him three years before he is hurt too much. He’s exciting to watch but you can’t throw your 223 pound body up against 300+ pound linemen forever before you get crushed. He is a game time decision for the Saints game next week too.
