Cruised around on the RGU today doing some Christmas shopping. Was a little successful.

 

Tampa game is ugly.

 

Evening gents! Got roped into a "Cut yer Own" Christmas Tree again. I thought I was done with that. But noooooo. Cheryl doesn't like any of the artificial trees we looked at. On the plus side I found one for 50 bucks. Of course I then had to buy a stand for 70 bucks because I got rid of the nice one we had because why? Oh yeah......wasn't going to ever do this again!

 

Cheap compared to some of the artificial I've seen, Bob....and the smell!

 

And the needles!

 

In the event of a fire at least his detectors are recently inspected.

 

Good point. But Casper should be able to keep it watered.

We had actually driven away from 3 other places and the last farm we went to was our last stop before heading to Costco to look at trees again. The other places were $115 for a lesser tree. We used to spend that on the 9 footers we bought. These were under 7 feet.

But yes, the smell is quite nice. This tree is particularly aromatic. And heavy!

Now I'm reluctantly watching the Chicken Hawks and enthusiastically sipping a spiked hot chocolate.

 

The Tampa game is so lopsided they went to Seattle.
