If it runs ok, and the ones I've changed before did, I won't touch it. For one that doesn't run well, I screw it in till it just bottoms, back out 1 1/4 turn, fire it up and slowly back out till it runs better. If it doesn't get better, I turn it back in till it does. When the mix screw doesn't help, there's another problem. The carb I just got has two mix screws, high speed and low. Low is pretty much just for idle, usually you run a snow blower or lawn mower wide open or at idle. A lot of the Amazon carbs don't have any mix adjustment, when (and it's when, not if) they get run problems, you get another cheap carb. Don't remember if I got 2 or 3 years out of this one. It didn't have a mix screw, thought I'd spend more for this next one and see if I can make it last longer. Not for the price, but just so hopefully it will go longer without having to wrench a replacement.
well it's just a start up issue.....low idle on the throttle and mid choke to start it ....instead of full throttle full choke like I'm used too. Other than the start up it runs fine.
still fuming mad about the shitty weather today....even thou I have alot to be thankful for.........I think I'm getting sick......I think it's liberalism
