Rotary phones are super cool! They work on a mechanical pulse signal. Old school tech that was revolutionary in it's day. My grandma had one. I loved calling home on it.

That song is sure used a lot on Vietnam youtube videos. Never heard it while I was there, came out a year later. Listened to some of those Doors songs through the helmet earphones, though. Hoped Light My Fire would play sometime while I was exercising the M60, and it finally did one day. Purfect music to shoot by.

They were ok I guess, but when they came out you couldn't flirt with the operator.
