Ahhhh….Larry is finally here with my smoking jacket to welcome me to da club.

 

I expect about mid-January, a chat about delayed exit.... seriously.

Halito Woods. Took son in for a colonoscopy this morning. Everything checked out good. a single polyp was found and removed. Tiring sitting in a hospital waiting room. They did have a nice huge flat screen tv going, but showing soccer. I don't care about that!! Just tired..... late night last night. Got a call at 4:30 yesterday wanting to know if I could tend bar at the Post. And....last night was pool night. So I didn't get out until almost 11pm. One nice thing..... one of our members playing our pull tab ticket game and had a couple winners. I cashed those out for her. Then she called me over and gave me a $500 winner. So I checked it and cashed her out. Then she gave me a $100 bill!!! I refused. We went back and forth, and she finally "convinced" me to take it. I couldn't thank her enough...she said we bar tenders at the Post don't get paid enough (tips only....volunteer work) and she knows what we do. So I have that $100 bill in my wallet....maybe a christmas present for the bike.
So between the late night and early rise, and a few hours at the hospital, I am whipped. Should not have any problems sleeping tonight!!!
So I'll lurk a bit until I get another nap!!
