Black-eyed peas are cooking, cornbread to come later. The neighbor lady (young one) came over for a few. She has lost a bunch of weight, good for her! Music going, fireworks in the distance and cool front is passing through.

Just a pass thru.....I see I may not be the only one who is staying in tonight. Hope those of you who did go out, had a good and safe evening. Just watching a little NCIS, drinking a Dirty Bastard, and will head to bed shortly. I'll be back.....

 

I'll be taking the doggo out for a wiz and that's about it , the bedroom windows have been open since 2pm and it's like 60° in there, awesome for sleeping and with the big Vermont quilt and the 4 shots of moonshine I got in me yeah baby I'll be sleeping right through the shelling (fireworks)
OH and a happy and prosperous new year.

 

2nd the NCIS marathon I doubt we’ll ever get the champagne uncorked.
