So, a big F U to getting older 🤣🙌😂

Just dropping by to catch up - -

At 71 years young, I'm on the BowFlex, (the OW!Flex...) some free weights, stretches to begin with, of course. Pushups, sit-ups, I do use a bench press, other stuff in variation. I used to run, but now, after my stroke, I walk. I do NOT exercise to excess. Moderation is the key. I intend to stay flexible and strong enough, not he-man muscles. It can be a struggle to find the motivation some days, but laying out much more than a couple days makes it harder to get it back. The beach bod ain't happening, haha! But once you stop moving, yer done.

YMMV

Today was oddly somber and I am a bit taken aback by that. There was a WTF moment that is ingrained and indelibly stamped on my memory that already has me laughing in tears. Here's the short version.

I have him at the front door of the new place and have rung the bell to be let in. The very nice lady, Mary, arrived to find him relieving himself on the their lovely 6X8 Logo Bearing Welcome To mat.

My Delta plainer stopped working. Thought it was just the belt. Nope. Bad bearings and pulley. Gotta take this one to work. Bummer because this thing is a time saver!

Well that memory is better than the marks the wheels made in the lawn from the girney that carried my dad away to the mortuary.

Mary didn't bat an eye. She smiled, extended her hand and said to him,.... You must be Kenny. I'm Mary. Come on, let's find some clean clothes.

I think Mary is an angel.

Halito Woods. Went out for dinner last nite with some friends. Ended up having too much fun. Felt crappy all day. Feeling better now. Felt bad enough I didn't even get on the laptop!!!
Went to MSU basketball game.....we won.... beat Indiana State 87-75. Close tight game. May have soup and small grilled cheese and see if that agrees with me. Will be an early night tonight!!
