Morning, morning Woods.

Yes and the length could vary pending how things of this world go but I played strong to the safe side with a 30 year fixed but the good news is if I throw the same amount of out of pocket I currently spend and hammer the difference? It'll be paid off in as little as 6 years but I honestly don't see that scenario playing out but what I do see coming in the near future is some real tough times ahead which could include loss of employment in which case this option would be closed and for bonus points? I won't be faced with losing or having to sell anything and less than 1/2 of my SS will cover which includes a 2019 Tundra TRD Crewmax Limited with a scant 36K miles on it (that has been paid-off for 18 months now) and my beloved 2020 SGS

And although I currently regard it as a pipedream scenario If my job does hold out another 15 months? I'll be a double dipper and then I can really make that premium evaporate in short order but if I had to bet the farm? I think SHTF day will arrive well before then in which case I'll be well prepared and my mortgage will be less than a cheap 1BR/1Bath apt in these parts.

Ahhh I’m leaving my maintenance gig and waiting 8 months for my s/s. I’ll be over 3 k a month. Instead of under 3 k where I’m at now. Truck and bike are paid off. Selling stuff on eBay for greens fees. I refuse to werk with lying prices of shlt
But that’s another story

Afternoon all. Picked up some more slabs. Not sure what I'm going to make the square-ish one has some beautiful rippling.
