When I was in my mid to late teens, there was a drag strip about 20 miles from us. Neighbor guy ( he was in his early 20's and kinda sorta offered me beer on our drives there) had a cousin who owned a farm across the road from the drag strip. We would park in his yard and walk in for free....owner told the gate guys we had freebies when we came in! Saw the Terrifying Toronado, Hurst Hairy Olds, Dyno Don Nicholson, Art Arfons The Green Monster jet car, Don Garlits, Ramchargers and many I cannot remember. What a time to be a teenager into cars!!

Just got home from MSU basketball game....beat Stoney Ridge 99-56. Complete control of entire game!
Just resting up with a bit of heat on my back, then head to bed.
Later!!

Saturn's even farther and I can see its rings and some moons on my cheap 40 year old telescope. Jupiter's stripes, big spots and some of its moons are easy to see with a fairly cheap telescope. I bought my oldest grandson a nice telescope a couple years ago and he's never used it. I should tell him he can re-gift it back to me for Christmas.

I was close enough to the Green Monster to touch it, but it was just on display that day and I didn't get to see it run.

Yes, a few Mick, really went in surges today.
The federal portal for required background checks was unusually slow and glitchy today. My full-time coworkers blame that on significant submissions nationally.
