Halito Woods. Today is my most favorite day of the year. I look forward to this day each winter.
Sounds like coffee is the choice of drink right now...glad I'm in the right group. But mine is almost gone now....finish the pot and clean things up for the day. No big plans for me today. Temps to be in low 40's. I know what you mean Ken..... for sure once salt is out there is no more riding until spring rains. Bad enough with road crud let alone adding salt scum!!!

Oh yeah...my favorite day??? First day of winter....shortest day, longest nite of the year. NOW each day will be getting longer and more daylight!!! Signs of upcoming spring!

 

My BP is going wonky today, actually started last night, my Doc took me off my BP meds back in February guess I should call him and see about going back on a low dose.
This happened once before back in August when I got back from my Maine trip BP went bonkers for about a week then went normal again.
Just had a blood draw last week and all is normal,,, whatever that is.

 

Morning Woods. I am taking tomorrow off. 16 years with TLT says I earned a drink. Today, I'm just waiting. Yesterday was our second chase of the week. We don't play. Troopers, PD, and we all work together to reign these POS into the ground. We find them most of the time, but yesterday was an exercise in futility. The issue is, the big cities don't chase, so they come here and think they can get away.

A month back we weren't even chasing when the bad guy when he hit another head on, killing himself and ruining the life of the other person. I'm so tempted to take out legs as they're running anymore. I'm disgusted at the way some people treat others.

Chris..... I have empathy with you. I hate that the idiots in charge are letting things go, taking away the authority of our LEO's. We need to enforce the laws we have on the books, not go around them. I hope you and your fellow officers have success in your duties and do not get hurt or injured. I hope the perps suffer greatly for what they have done, and you guys (ALL LEO's) go home safe and sound.
I hate politicians.

 

Off to a VA exam to be evaluated for sinusitis, which is currently rated as non SC, even though it is presumptive, and, well, anyway, it's the VA so, my claim is ultimately decided by a Schedule 1 GS-5 or so.

If I can find my DD214. Whatever that thing is. I think I have a stack of them in the safe.
