Just got home from Post X-Mas party. Passed out envelopes to our bar tenders. Gave them a card with $100 if for their "work' over the past year. Can't thank them enough! They had karioke going on and one of the bar tenders kept asking me to sing.... I think not! Have a good group of bar tenders and couple others that do a lot to help the Post and Club Room.
One of the guys told me he planned to ride his bike down Michigan Avenue (one of the main streets in Lansing) dressed up as Santa Claus Christmas Eve. I'm gonna watch the weather and if it is "nice" out, that is not raining or extremely cold. gonna call the TV stations and tell them to watch for a Santa on a red motorcycle noonish on Christmas Eve. He didn't believe I would do that, but hell, he'll be riding by a hospital and the state capital. Should be some nice footage for the news!!

The gig was called about half way through. There was no one there and the weather was getting rough. I hope we get to go back when the weather is better.

Coffee good, we had a wind gust at 3am'ish that rocked the house and the rain was like a fire hose against the windows.
guess I'll plug in the pump and check the water level in the pond.
Need to mix my protein shake and get ready for church.
