Well I had my "wellness check" this morning. I guess medicare does not allow for annual physicals, so they do a wellness check where they ask a ton of questions about you, your health, and your memory. I asked if this was an old man check up and she laughed! Only thing I failed on was she gave me three words to remember, then gave me a little quiz/questionaire to complete then asked me the three words. I could only remember the first one. She said that was ok, I did well on the others, so nothing to worry about. For now.... This getting old crap is nothing to take lightly. With wifey coming into dementia, I now have worries and concerns about me. If I go off the deep end too, the kids are gonna have their hands full!!!
Oh well.... I'm still doing things so I guess I'm semi-OK. Hope you all don't have to worry about this crap.....Now on to build my post counts!

Got my new glasses from Costco today, just a blur, no focus at any distance. They said the prescription numbers matched, I'll have to go back the 29th (busy this time of year) to get checked again. If that prescription wasn't right, I get the glasses replaced by them. If it is, the company that made them must have screwed up but I can't prove that and sounds like my only recourse is going somewhere else on my dime. Thinking I wasted my money getting a Costco card, Sam's Club was always perfect. Unfortunately, the only one close to me lost their eye doc and says they haven't been able to get a replacement. The glasses I have are decent, just not perfect and I'm willing to pay for better. Just wonder when and where I'll get the perfect pair.
