Good evening all. The visit to the home office served to remind me what a great bunch of people I work for and with. The best damn engineering firm in the United States perhaps the world.

Finished my BBQ from yesterday and I found out they have a sister place in Dade city FL, called Dade city BBQ company.
I highly recommend the Patriot if anyone goes there it's enough to feed 2.

Never heard of the Dade City BBQ Company.

Edit: I know the place and have tried it. It did not present near as well as your photos and I only went once. I was not overly impressed. It has not been open that long. I did not realize that was the name. It is in the old Pizza Hut building.

47° today. 1 to 3 inches of snow forecast for tomorrow. But local radio is predicting rain instead. Very unusual weather for middle of December.

I feel blessed and consider myself lucky as hell. It is actually hard to retire even though I could.

Let me tell you, Mick. I remember clearly sitting in a Minneapolis buddy's beat up 72 Cadillac as a freshman in college, on our way to a Friday night party and he says to me "have you heard this song yet? It's hot stuff right now". He cranks up the FM radio and it was "Staying Alive" from the newly released movie. It was early winter 1977 and it was colder than hell. Those Minneapolis boys really dug the disco scene at the time. To be 18 again......LOL
