Good morning all. I have two Christmas luncheons today. One with former co-workers and one with current co-workers. I will only eat once.

The seat works fine but they are just so set in their ways that they do not use it. They (my wife, her brothers and sister) keep telling them they should, especially when carrying the groceries and such but they are set in their ways. She is home now and doing fine. I hope this convinces her and her significant other to use the damn thing. When she divorced my FIL and bought that house I told my wife it was a mistake to get a house with those stairs at her age. When we were house shopping 4 years ago we looked at some really nice places but they were two-story and it was a deal breaker because we knew it was our last home and we would get old in it. I no longer do ladders either unless it is just a step or two to reach a light bulb or the gutters. I ain't going up high on a ladder or getting on the roof again. I will call a guy.

Off to shuffle, then our store Christmas party tonight. I'm behaving, it's over an hour's drive home on busy highways!
