Took Carol to Costco yesterday, she always wants to get there at least 15 minutes before it opens. Not like she gets to the head of the line, Minnesotans don't do lines very well, more like a mob rush when the doors open, and for Costco that can be over 100 people. This time said for once let's do it my way, get there around 15 minutes after it opens and just walk in, be behind the big initial group crowding through the store, and most of them will clear the checkouts before we get there. Sure enough, no crowd getting in, and most checkouts only had one cart, not a line stretching back into the store. She was surprised, said ok, that's the way to do it from now on. Great, won't be like Christmas shopping every time now. Hope that's the last Costco trip this year, almost forgot about the most commercialized day of the year.

It was a good little book. Not a great novel or anything but good enough to make a small movie out of it.

I sure hope that isn't as bad as it sounds. I shall refrain from post op comments since I can't think of any I'd want to hear. Hope you'll be able to tell us it wasn't as bad as expected.
