Time to throw this bed on to a trailer and wait for a worthy truck! I never liked that V10 anyways.

I rented a Ford with the v10. I got 11mpg with, or without, the 65 impala behind it

I figured a bed like that would have had some sort of load restriction due to the narrow frame it was mounted on.

I would hazard a guess that the bed was raised on uneven ground, or one side of the duals sunk in, causing a tip over.

I dont know what the cap is but it is a commodity box. Not for rock or dirt.

Exactl what happened. Post rainstorm conditions. Ground looked good but as soon as the bed was raised it rolled. A seasoned operator wood have felt that.
