The decisions that the Beautiful People sometimes make.....
Down at PK working on a 4 Million $$$$ home. There's a native Pecan tree that is one of the biggest I've ever seen. Pecan trees in our State can live 300 years, and this tree was probably near that. Put it this way, Comanches probably gathered and roasted pecans from this tree, before PK was a lake and was just a valley named a Comanche name long forgotten. Before Texas was a State and before there were white settlers on the frontier.
This tree didn't impede their view of the lake, but they decided to cut it down. What you see is just half of the root ball. The rest was hauled off as this will be.

Watching Lone Survivor for the first time, rough watch. Recently found out my neighbor in Tennessee died about a month ago. Lot of history died with him
