TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge part XIV.
Hey, Rob!
49° 2 miles north of the Manatee river, I may have to burn some furniture for heat (lol)
Tell that guy in the RV he can't park there.
Time to get the doggo out and for me to hit the floor

Evening Rob, from the other side of the river.

Finally felt like doing some garden stuff outside today, but the old body hasn't winter adapted yet, almost made it up to 30 and I still thought it was time to warm up in 10 minutes. Close to zero within the past couple nights, and still have some collards and kale to pick, those must have some kind of antifreeze in their leaves. I've had a nice head of cauliflower grow under the snow, that was a surprise when it melted.
I've been in a car that went down an embankment about the size and angle of the one that RV was hanging over. Mom was driving, got rear ended by a semi, spun around and drifted sideways towards the edge, no avoiding going over so I yanked the wheel over and got it backwards just as it went over, lucky it stayed backwards going down so it didn't roll. Bit of a thump at the bottom but we all got out ok. I felt kind of bad about Mom, I brought an arm down hard to break her grip on the wheel and bruised her pretty bad. Just instinct, no time to think.

Evenin Woods, I am up to my ears in technical research in preparation for my stage two build . So much to know. One way , the expensive way, is to try what you think will work and then try something different and compare the results. The better way is to learn from the experiences of those who have already gone down that road , listen to what they discovered and go directly there. Knowing you to listen to ( those who can back it up with an explanation is the trick). Someone here once said. “ the trick to modifications , is knowing when to stop” .
