Evening gents. It's been a day of failure. Truck never showed because, apparently, when our logistics guy said "Sounds good" in response to the expeditors quote and timeline, the expeditor didn't schedule it. I guess he wanted the silver platter treatment. So now I have a rigging team, and an installation crew, just sitting around in Bumfvk Oregon to the tune of 10 grand a day. While that is bad enough, the real annoyance is my companies inability to fix the problem. I've been on the phone since 8AM trying to resolve the issue. BUT - I can't speak to the expeditor directly (got reamed by upper management last time I went around our idiot logistics guy) - it has to go through our logistics guy. Who, by the way, never checked his emails and missed the option of having it there tomorrow. Silly me for thinking that this was a big deal and he would be doing his job to get me my equipment. So now I will probably lose my installation team and the project will push into the holidays, which never works.
Have you checked out Discount Tire or Tire Rack? You have that one major Tire Rack center just over the border in Indiana. I've driven from Milwaukee there to buy tires. It was that good of a deal at the time.
Seems like my grass is growing faster than ever right now.. I have to mow every 4 days.
I don't even know the man, but I know enough that if he was GM, I would go out of my way to see that parade.
I've said it many times - love my Hellcat. Carries like a feather. The Sig is a fine gun, but I chose the Hellcat over it regardless of the cost differential. No regerts.
Wow! Just got home from tire searching. Expensive!! Belle Tire was just over $1300 for 4 Michelin. Discount was just under $1000 for same tire. Including military veteran discount. But they didn't have all 4 in stock. So hope in a week I can get this done. Long gone are the days where I could get 4 tires for less than $500.... I'm shocked!!
Oh well, I need them....just need to be a bit patient now and wait.

Yeah Bob....Discount Tire is the cheaper of the two. Plus I have bought the vast majority of my tires there over the last 30+ years. Just waiting for them to get all 4 tires in and then head in for install.

As an aside - I am actually rooting for the Bears. Strange times.
