Morning, coffee consumed slept on an air mattress it was not much better than the recliner. time for the elliptical.
Biggest scam dealers offer is life time oil changes. I learned my lesson with my F350 after the first oil change the list of ''' repairs'' was almost 10K I never went back to that dealer or any dealer for maintenance.
IIRC the list on a brand new truck with 10k
tires
trans flush
power steering flush
lift pump flush
water separator clean
fuel filter
there was like 22 items that needed to be addressed on a new truck. F.T.S
Good morning all. I am headed to get the oil changed in the wife's car. Early appointment so I am back in time for her to drive it to work. I hate the dealership system but she has the lifetime oil change thing so I have to go there. They always try to sell me a bunch of repairs. I swear time before last it was taking forever and they started blowing up my phone with all kinds of pic of things there were inspecting and recommendations. The total estimate was like $8K. That is why it was taking so long. I went off on the service writer and he admitted nothing on the list really needed to be done at the moment. They wasted two hours of my time for an oil change. Now I tell them right up front, change the oil, filter and bring it around.
