I put Old Home Place on my list to learn. Not sure if it will pan out but I like the song. It is a bluegrass song but can be done a little more country like Mo did it.

Hey Bob,
I'd go with you to any bar with a name like that.

It never hit 40 here, I was going to go out for a bit but don't think my knee would take that temp.

Let’s talk motorcycles for a minute Woods . I getting my mind and pocketbook ready to do a little upgrade on my bike. To be more precise, a “ stage two “ build. I have spent countless hours researching my options and have a list of decisions yet to make. Understand I will be settled with my choices before I proceed. Some of the variables will seem minor to most but they are still important enough to me to get them right.
1) choice of cam. I’ve narrowed it down to two ( to achieve the desired performance change) . Star racing 30/30 or Woods 22xe
vary close in specs with the 30/30 having a slightly higher lift .485 vs .470

2) larger throttle body & intake manifold. Stock is 55mm and plastic, SE 64mm is cast aluminum and should probably get a little bigger injector

3) head pipe, the cat is going away for sure but a cheap one is $500 a little better one is $800 ( 304 stainless) and the top shelf is $1395 also 304 stainless

4) oil pump and cam plate support is the easy one, SE @ $775. and a good performer.

5) lifters all cost about the same, but most are made using needle bearings, Woods has new design that uses a one piece roller.
that is flip of the coin.
I am probably going to have it done for me for three reasons ( though I’m capable of doing the work myself) .
1) special tools I need and would have to purchase and a dyno tune that I would have to pay for anyway ( to maximize results)
2) time
3) I get a warranty from either builder
Ok Woods, what say you
